Food prices generally increase 2% each year, but from 2021 to 2022 they went up 11% and have continued to climb ever since. In February 2024, the iconic company Kellogg's released an ad campaign encouraging Americans to eat cereal for dinner if they are strapped for cash. Poverty is up in the US; meanwhile, Kellogg's CEO Gary Pilnick is compensated $5 million annually.
Starting April 1st and lasting until the end of June, we are not buying any products from Kellogg's. This boycott is intended to send a message to all food companies that they must lower their prices—or find themselves the target of the next boycott!
The boycott was started by TikTok creator @tallgirl6234
